The former Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, in the office of the Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Hon. Wilson Iliya Yangye, has stated that he opted to dump the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other 13,000 supporters to the opposition party (PDP) for lack of inclusion, justice and fairness.
Wilson, stated this on Thursday in an exclusive interview with in Kaduna.
According to him, “they dumped the ruling party because of Political interest of his people.
The grassroot politician explained that he willingly resigned on May 5th 2022 because he believes in justice, fairness and the betterment of people.
“What we tried to advise and to promote that will benefit the common Man was not adhered to and as a young Man in politics I should be more sensitive to the yearnings and aspirations of my people,” He said.
He lamented that Kafanchan-Kwoi, Jagindi-Bade and Gidan Waya road, are in a very bad state and bandits have taken advantage to deal with people on those axes.
” If politics is about interest, driving development to affect your people, where I am coming from, that’s Southern Kaduna, it has grossly and not adequately affected in terms of development.
” It was not all about the salary and the luxury we enjoyed in Government, but it was about the betterment of my people.
He reiterated that Southern Kaduna is purely PDP and he believed in his people and believed in the inclusiveness of what the PDP Gubernatorial did.
” Those who equally saw the light in their thousands decided to leave the ruling party and joined us.
He noted that his group ” PDP MAXIMUM IMPACT” have come onboard and they’ll ensure maximum impact in terms of mobilization of votes in order to wrestle power from the APC.” Wilson maintained.
