The gubernatorial candidate of People Redemption Party (PRP) Kano state Alhaji Salihu Tanko Yakasai has unveiled his Manifesto which is focused on bringing back the state to the path of comprehensive, egalitarian and sustainable development.

Speaking at the unavailing of the Manifesto held at Event Center Hadejia Road Kano, Salihu Yakasai promised if elected in 2023 to work with all partners for the implementation of the manifesto which has clear mission, vision and also designed in according to PRP philosophy.

He stated that, according to the manifesto, PRP will fight environmental degradation, through encouraging uses of clean energy, improve water supply, hygiene and sanitation , using modern technology for industrial and domestic west management for a healthy society.

” To tackle security challenge and make Kano a safe heaven to its inhabitants, we will strengthen our conventional and traditional security system with provision of modern Technology, allowances to conventional security agencies, while training, infrastructure and budgetary allocation will be increase to traditional institutions”

“We will reposition public service for effective public service delivery through training and retraining of staffs, timely payment of salary, pension and other entitlement, rewards and punishment and also integrated government activities with e-governance”

Salihu however stated that, the blue print has also contained a comprehensive plan for educational , economic, social and moral development that will make Kano the most prosperous, safe, and happiest state in Africa.

“It is in the annals of history that PRP government in Kano and Kaduna had in less than 4 years liberated Talakaw from the chain of oppression and alienation and elevated them to freedom and humanity with dividend of democracy in every city, town, village and house, and if elected I will continue from where they stop” Yakasai declared.

Commenting on the Manifesto, the PRP candidate for Kura/Garunmalam.state assembly constituency, Alhaji Muhammad Zangina, has described the occasions as a clear manifestation that PRP is party built upon philosophy and manifesto.

He said, unlike other political parties in Nigeria that were built and run around personality, PRP is a party that encourage all-inclusive participation in politics and governance for achieving sustainable democracy, social justice, freedom, peace and sustainable development.

About 20 PRP gubernatorial candidates and those vying for other positions under the party and thousands party members were in attendance during the unavailing of the Manifesto.
