Resource Centre for Human Rights & Civic Education (CHRICED) and the Cohort of the Project of Promoting the Rights of Original Inhabitants in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the Honourable Minister of State for the FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani-Aliyu over the painful demise of her beloved mother, Hajjiya Zainab Sidi Ali, who recently passed away after a brief illness.
CHRICED Executive Director, Comrade Dr. Zikirullahi M. Ibrahim, in a condolence message expressed sadness at the loss of the Minister’s amiable mother.
He said: “It is certain that this is indeed a difficult time for the Minister and her entire family as they collectively come to terms with the enormity of this loss. We pray that as the Minister takes this solemn moment to reflect on her beloved mother’s years in this world, she will be strengthened by the impact her beloved Mother made on those who crossed her path.
The Minister and the rest of us should take solace in the positive and inspiring legacy left behind by the late Hajiya Sidi Ali.” He said: “In this time of mourning and reflection, we stand with Dr. Tijjani-Aliyu in prayers and supplication to the Almighty God for the peaceful repose of her beloved mother’s gentle and amiable soul.”
