Former Nollywood actor, Lawyer cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo says that the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi is the only option for Nigeria, adding that he is far better than Tinubu and Atiku.
He stated this when he appeared on Channel TV’s current affairs program on Thursday, monitored by The Explainers.
According to him, “Peter Obi by three (3)opinion poll, is not just that he is better, but he is the only option, is wrong to the day that Peter Obi is an alternative option”.
Asked why he left All Progressive Congress APC, he said “Everything about APC is bad because there’s no sound coming out from APC, what you hear is noise. Do you know when people make noise they exchange ignorance through argument?
“I was in APC, reading their manifestos and constitution which their leaders are not aware of because by manifestos they talk about restructuring through federalism and then they also promised to make to Nigerians that one naira should be equal to one dollar but today, the dollar is #135 Naira, do you what that means? APC failed 735 times the current exchange of the Naira to the dollar.
“I prefer to do the right thing and lose rather than doing the wrong thing and win, And I got this from Peter Obi”.
“Whoever is in APC who takes that kind of money in the nomination fee is corrupt”.
However, e further said “I wonder why Atiku Abubakar is still contesting, if he an honorable man, he could have stepped down because the only manifesto he has is a great unified that is the only that came out from him.
“PDP failed and they apologized. APC came and said they will build on what PDP did and yes they truly did because they are building a sky scrapper of failure on it”
While speaking on insecurity, he said “Am embarrassed that Buhari is rejoicing after people have languished in terrorist camp for more than 8 months”.
he said the United States of America come to Niger State where Boko Haram put them in their camp, and it took Nigeria the eighth month to capture their citizens, after buying them.
