The apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has called upon Igbos residing in Lagos State to consider relocating their investments to the Southeast region of Nigeria.
Citing the tremendous potential for growth, Ohanaeze emphasized the key cities of Aba, Abakiliki, and Onitsha as prime locations for investment and development.
Recognizing this opportune moment, the organization encouraged Igbos to reevaluate their investment strategies and seize the chance to redirect them to the Eastern region.
“Our vibrant cities, such as Aba, Abakiliki, and Onitsha, present substantial potential for growth and progress,” states Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the factional Secretary-General of Ohanaeze.

“Through strategic investments and the establishment of international markets in these areas, we can create thriving economic hubs that will not only benefit the Igbo people but also contribute to the overall advancement of Nigeria.”
Ohanaeze Ndigbo stressed the need for unity and solidarity among Igbo residents in Lagos during these challenging times.
The organization also recognized the need for collective determination and support, fostering an environment where individuals can collaborate and overcome difficulties together.
By doing so, the pan Igbo organisation said it aimed to chart a brighter and promising future for generations to come.
