Nigerian music stars Kizz Daniel and Adekunle Gold have collaborated on a new single titled “Pano Tona,” which promises to be a fresh highlight in the Afrobeat scene.
The collaboration was confirmed on Monday by Christian Agadibe, Chief Executive Officer of Artmatazz Media, a media partner of Kizz Daniel, in a statement to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Agadibe noted that “Pano Tona” follows the success of Daniel’s recent hit “Marhaba” and sees him team up with Adekunle Gold in a fusion of their distinctive sounds.
The song, produced by Philkeys, Blaise Beat, and Reward Beats, merges Kizz Daniel’s smooth, melodic style with Adekunle Gold’s dynamic Afro-fusion approach.
The collaboration brings together Kizz Daniel’s personal storytelling style and Adekunle Gold’s soulful vocals, creating a harmonious blend that Agadibe described as “spellbinding.”
“Not only do both superstars seamlessly hand off verses and choruses on ‘Pano Tona,’ but the track also stands as a classic addition to both artists’ catalogs, with its upbeat tempo and catchy chorus,” he added.
Reflecting on his year, Kizz Daniel said, “It’s been a remarkable journey celebrating a decade in the industry, and ‘Pano Tona’ with Adekunle Gold is part of my commitment to creating music that resonates with fans.”
Adekunle Gold echoed the sentiment, calling the track “a celebration of our shared love for Afrobeat,” according to Agadibe.
As the year winds down, “Pano Tona” marks a significant moment in Kizz Daniel’s “Vado at 10” anniversary celebrations.
Earlier in the year, he released “Twe Twe” with Davido, which topped several charts, followed by the “TZA” EP, amassing over 250 million streams.
