President Bola Tinubu returned to Nigeria, following his participation in the G20 Compact with Africa (CwA) Conference held in Berlin, Germany. Having left Nigeria on November 18, 2023, the President arrived back in Abuja on Wednesday night to a warm reception.
Upon his arrival at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, President Tinubu was greeted by prominent figures including Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Femi Gbajabiamila, his Chief of Staff.
During his time at the G20 CwA Conference, President Tinubu joined heads of state and government from other countries, along with bilateral partners and international organization leaders to discuss on issues such as trade, energy and cooperation.
Presidency sources have noted that the goal of the trip was to deliberate on immediate measures to strengthen economic and business collaboration.
The conference focused on key areas, including energy, trade, infrastructure, and new technologies, seeking concrete initiatives to stimulate investments in these critical sectors.

The event offered a platform for global leaders to foster dialogue and form strategies for promoting economic growth and development within Africa.
