Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has escalated his public dispute with Queen Dami, the estranged wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, by releasing a provocative diss track titled “Bye-bye to Jaga Jaga.”
The musical confrontation emerged from a week-long social media drama that began with a heated Instagram live session. Portable shared a snippet of the track on Saturday, accompanied by a defiant caption and a video of himself dancing to the song’s lyrics.
“Bye-bye to wahala, as I dey hammer, make I dey hammer dey go, I no wan go back to broke nation,” Portable sang, directly addressing the ongoing conflict with Queen Dami.
The track follows a series of inflammatory exchanges between the two, which started when Portable confronted Dami during a live Instagram stream.
During the encounter, he publicly accused her of prostitution, forcing her to abruptly end the session.
Responding to Portable’s allegations, Dami subsequently posted on Instagram, declaring, “Alhamdulilahi, I’m done. This is too much for me; I can’t take this embarrassment.”
The situation took a dramatic turn when Dami featured in a retaliatory social media skit, depicting herself seeking services from a male prostitute.
In the video, when her companion expressed fear of Portable, she reportedly reassured him that she had already contacted the police.
Portable quickly countered with another video, again accusing Dami of being a prostitute and claiming she intended to harm him.
Dami vehemently denied these allegations, explaining that she was merely promoting her business during the live stream.
She also challenged the nature of their relationship, pointedly asking, “You haven’t married me. You made me a kept woman. Do you know my family members? Have you wedded me with a ring?”
The ongoing feud has generated significant public attention, with social media users actively commenting and sharing their perspectives on the escalating conflict between the two public personalities.
