The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Kaduna Branch, has promised to voluntrily teach science and technical subjects in public secondary schools in the state.
The newly inaugurated Chairman of the Kaduna Branch, Engr. Abubakar Ishaq Jumare disclosed this at the weekend during his inaugural speech.
According to him, NSE in it quest to professionally impact positively on the immediate communities will embark on career guidance and motivational visits to secondary and tertiary institutions.
Jumare further explained that under his leadership, he will vigorously pursued the completion of the NSE’s secretariat building project initiated by the previous administrations of the Branch.
This is just as he however, said that his leadership will colaborate with Government and Private organisations in the area of community services.
The new Chairman, who explained that leadership tasks are enormous sought the support and cooperation of the members to enable the new excos achieved its outlined programmes.
While charging the new excos on their responsibilities, he also urged members to embrace the culture of togetherness, team work, commitment, and dedication to professional calls.
In his speech, the National President of NSE, Engr. Tasiu Sa’ad Gidari-Wudil who was represented by the outgoing Chairman of the Branch, Engr. Rachel Serumun Ugye urged the members to give their support to the new excos.
