The N-Power Beneficiaries Forum has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider the appointment of Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
While calling for the consideration in the appoitment of Dr. Tejuosho, the national body of the forum notes that her unwavering commitment and support to the N-Power beneficiaries and the less privileged in Nigeria have been exemplary, making her an ideal candidate for this crucial role.
In a statement issued by the Chairman, Kano N-Powar Beneficiaries Forum, Nazifi Muhammed Abubakar, averred that Dr. Tejuosho is pzssionate about the less privileges ones.
“Our appeal to you sir, is to consider our request to appoint Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as minister for her indefatigable assistance and her serious commitment towards the development of humanities.”
The forum in the statement however, indicted the Kano state governor of turning down the forum’s call for conversion of N-Power beneficiaries into permanent and pensionable workers in the state.
“We the Kano State youths, we assure you when Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho is appointed as minister of Humanitarian Affairs and poverty Alleviation the APC Government will won not only presidential seat but also governorterial seat in the forthcoming election in the year 2027.”
The statement further reads that in Kano state, Dr. Tejuosho had offered scholarship to many students from different field of studies such as sciences, Arts and humanities, engineering and other health related courses.
While expressing optimism that President Tinubu will give due consideration to the forum’s request, the forum equally commended the Midas’ touch of Tinubu’s administration in the last one year, while also stating that the president should put into account the aspirations of the N-Power beneficiaries as he continues to steer the nation towards progress and prosperity.
