The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, has donated 15 trailer loads of fertilizer to members of the Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Minister’s donation was handed over to the party’s secretary by the Chairman of the state chapter of the APC, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, for distribution to beneficiaries across the state.
According to Danfulani, the distribution of the fertilizers is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agricultural transformation program. He praised the Minister’s gesture, saying it will boost agricultural output, economic growth, and development in the state.
Danfulani explained that part of the fertilizer was allocated to the Minister by the federal government, and he purchased additional trucks to complement the federal government’s agriculture initiatives, ensuring a bumper harvest in the coming wet farming season.
The Chairman assured that all 15 trailers will be distributed free of charge to identified beneficiaries, aiming to support farmers. He thanked the Minister, who is also the party leader in the state, for the gesture, recalling that during his time as governor, Matawalle maintained close ties with party members, promoting unity among leaders and supporters.

Danfulani assured that the fertilizer will reach party members across all 147 wards of the 14 local government areas in the state. He encouraged other leaders to emulate the Minister’s goodwill towards the people of the state.
Beneficiaries of the gesture include Party State Working Committee members and executives, local government executives, ward executives, party elders, youths, and other critical stakeholders across the state.
The Chairman commended party members in the state for their patience and support, making the party more popular and acceptable among the people of the state.”
