SHAIBU ALHAJI AHIJO, a notorious kidnapper who was declared wanted by the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agencies, has finally been nabbed by Operatives of the Scorpion Squad in Nyanya under bridge.
Zagalola Makama, a security analyst and expert based in Lake Chad confirmed in his verified X account that the suspect was arrested on Monday, following a tip-off.
He said, “Ahijo was apprehended at Nyanya Under Bridge on March 24 around 6:00 p.m. following a tip-off. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to being involved in several kidnappings across the FCT, Nasarawa, and Benue States. He admitted to receiving ₦1 million in ransom from his last operation.

“Ahijo also disclosed that three members of his gang Musa, Haruna, and Babangida (surnames unknown) were killed by security operatives during a botched kidnapping in Benue State”.
He revealed that he had traveled to Abuja to regroup with his gang after the deadly encounter.
The suspect is said to be under custody as intense investigations continue.
