Gospel singer Moses Bliss, and his Ghanaian bride Marie Wiseborn, have tied the knot in a civil wedding on February 27, 2024.
The couple, who met on Instagram a year ago, shared the happy news of their legal marriage on their official Instagram accounts, posting lovely photos and videos from the event.
Bliss, who is known for his hit song Too Faithful, praised Marie as his “personal gift from God” and thanked God for helping them this far.
He wrote, “Civil wedding done! It’s official I’m legally married to my gift from God @mariewiseborn Lord we are grateful for helping us this far.”
In a video clip, the couple exchanged their vows while holding hands, looking into each other’s eyes with love and admiration. Bliss also showed off his musical talent by playing a grand piano and singing a song he composed for his wife, as she sat beside him in a white lace gown.
He captioned the video, “This is F O V E V E R B L I S S .We’re so joyful we’re legally married.”
The court wedding was the result of a romantic journey that began on January 20, 2023, when Marie tagged Bliss in a video of herself dancing to his song Miracle No Dey Tire Jesus on Instagram.
Bliss said he was impressed by her praise and dance moves, and decided to reach out to her. They soon became friends and fell in love.
On January 19, 2024, Bliss surprised Marie with a proposal at a church in London, where she lives. He sang another song he wrote for her, as she walked down the aisle towards him. She said “yes,” and they hugged and kissed, as friends and family members cheered.
The proposal video went viral on social media, as fans and followers congratulated the couple and wished them well.
Bliss and Marie also shared their pre-wedding photos on Instagram, showing their chemistry and compatibility.
Bliss captioned one of the photos, “My safe place & peace @mariewiseborn”.
