The Federal Capital Territory’s Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission, Comrade Dalhatu Ezekiel Musa has called for a collaborative partnership between the Commission and the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
Dalhatu made the call during a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Agency, Prof. Fatima Waziri-Azi on Thursday in Abuja. The Commissioner emphasized the importance of the partnership in expediting resolution of complaints lodged by Nigerians.
He further urged the Director General to ensure fair representation of indigenes of the FCT in job recruitment within the agency.
In her response, Prof Waziri-Azi while outlining the mission and vision of NAPTIP assured the Commissioner of her agency’s cooperation with the Commission stressing that such is important in effectively serving the needs of Nigerians. She further assured the Commissioner that the agency will ensure that no group is marginalized in during job recruitment in the agency.
