The “Set Fire to the Rain” hitmaker explained that she couldn’t marry the fan because she was “already getting married.” “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married, so I can’t, but I appreciate it, thank you,” she said.
Her announcement elicited screams of excitement among the concertgoers. Although she didn’t reveal her partner’s name, many speculated that it is Rich Paul, her longtime boyfriend. Adele has been in a relationship with Paul, a US sports agent, since 2021, but only confirmed it in a 2022 interview.
