Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun has been conferred with a fellowship the Society for Peace Studies (SPSP) in recognition of what was described as his contributions to upholding peace and security in Nigeria.
The investiture ceremony, held at Dennis Hotel in Wuse, Abuja, was witnessed by prominent figures and government officials.
During the ceremony, IGP Egbetokun expressed deep gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing the multifaceted challenges facing the nation.
He assured the Society for Peace Studies and Practice of the Police Force’s unwavering partnership in capacity development through continuous training and retraining of officers and men.

The investiture ceremony was attended by individuals such as Mr. Nathaniel Awuapila, President of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice, Professor Elias Bogoro, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Isaac Albert, Founder of SPSP, and Professor Noah Yusuf, Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikimah University Ilorin.
