THREE EMPLOYEES of Airtel telecommunication company in Kebbi State have been gruesomely murdered by the members of the Lakurawa terrorist groups according to the State’s Police Command.
The workers were shot dead when they were installing a surveillance mast on Friday.
The incident happened barely 48 hours after the terror group reportedly killed four soldiers in an attack on Tafouka, a town in Konni, Tahoua region in southern Niger.
Lakurawa also called the Jama’a Nusrat ul-Islam wa al-Muslimin (JNIM), penetrated areas of Kebbi and Sokoto from Mali and the Niger Republic.
The spokesperson of the Police in Kebbi, Nafiu Abubakar, said that four persons, including an indigene, were killed.
