Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has expressed shock and deep pain over a tragic road accident that claimed the lives of 40 Muslim adherents in Saminaka during Moulud celebrations .
he accident, which occurred on Sunday, also left 48 others injured.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Governor Sani conveyed his condolences and support to the affected families.
“The Governor is deeply pained by the tragedy. His thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased and those who sustained injuries in the accident.”
To ensure the injured receive proper care, the Governor has directed the Commissioner of Health to provide adequate medical attention. Additionally, the government plans to offer assistance to the families of the deceased to alleviate their suffering.
