Following a news making the rounds that a curfew as been imposed on Kaduna metropolis and its environs, the state government has debunked such rumor, describing its as false.
The rumor of the imposition of curfew was occasioned by the looting of government properties in the state capital by hoodlums during the ongoing nationwide protests against hardship and hunger.
Governor Uba Sani, who took to the official Facebook page of Kaduna State governor, on Thursday afternoon, noted that the situation was under control.
According to Governor Sani, “No curfew has been imposed in Kaduna as we speak. Everything is under control.”
Our reported reported earlier that hoodlums who have infiltrated the ongoing hardship protesters on Thursday set a portion of the Kaduna State Transport Law Authority (KASTLEA) office ablaze and carted away some properties belonging to the agency.
While also another property belonging to the state government Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency (KADIPA), was vandalised by the hoodlums.
