According to the information made available to The Explainer, Harry and Meghan are in Nigeria on the invitation of the country’s military top brass to discuss the future work of the Prince’s Invictus Games Foundation. It was also gathered that Prince Harry and his wife will be meeting with wounded soldiers at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Kaduna.
Meanwhile, Harry’s visit to Nigeria followed his recent trip to the U.K. to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games. The Explainer learnt that there plans for Nigeria to collaborate with the Invictus, as Prince Harry’s foundation helps wounded service members and veterans through sport. As at the time of this report, security operatives were stationed at the strategic areas around the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Kaduna. On his arrive at Kaduna, Prince Harry and Meghan also visited the Kaduna State Government House where they were received by Governor Uba Sani.
