Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state, has hailed the peaceful conduct of the ongoing 2024 Local Government Areas elections in the state.
The governor who was at his Kawo polling unit at around 4:00 pm cast his vote under a peaceful atmosphere, while describing the Saturday’s local government elections in the state as a victory for democracy.
Meanwhile, the governor commended the state electoral umpire for providing the enabling environment for voters to exercise their constitutional rights as expected of them.
” It is obvious that today’s elections is free, fair and credible across the state. Though, we have issues in one or two local government areas, but only in two or three polling units,” Governor Sani said.
While fielding questions from journalists, he said: ” generally, the election is going on peacefully, and I believe that at the end of the day, we are going to have a credible elections.”
