FG Suspends Dana Air

Following the crash landing of an aircraft with registration number 5N BKI, the Federal Government has announced the suspension of Dana Air operational license. Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo said the suspension was due to fears about the safety and financial viability of the airline. It will be recalled that on Tuesday Dana Air’s plane with registration number 5N BKI veered off the runway at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The near fatal crash raised concerns about safety in the aviation sector. More to follow
