Osun State Governor’s aide, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, has launched a scathing attack on APC National Chairman, Dr. Umar Ganduje, accusing him of attempting to destabilize South-West unity.
“Dr. Ganduje is suffering from verbal diarrhoea and swollen ego,” Rasheed stated, responding to Ganduje’s alleged vow to capture Osun in 2026.
Rasheed further accused the APC chairman of trying to create problems for President Bola Tinubu, saying, “As a well-read politician, one would have expected Dr. Ganduje to know that electoral contests depend mostly on local indexes and factors, and that what obtains in Edo and Ondo are surely different from political facts on ground in Osun State.”
Meanwhile, APC chieftain Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye celebrated his party’s recent victory in Ondo State.
“The overwhelming 366,781 votes secured by the APC candidate, compared to PDP’s 117,845, signals future victories in opposition-held states,” Oyintiloye declared.
